Our Historic Home, constructed in 1895, is an impressive 9,100 sq.ft. estate consisting out of 4 storeys; ground floor, 2nd and 3rd floors, an attic, and basement. It is still well remembered due to the fact that it was constructed by Thomas 'Carbide' Willson (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Willson). He was a prominent Canadian engineer, chemist and entrepreneur. He spared no expense when building his “castle”. It was a gift to his mother and was designed by a New York architect and cost $90,000 to build.

A grand curving verandah wraps around the front of the home. The interior of the estate is breathtaking. Enjoy the high ceilings, detailed woodwork and crown mouldings throughout the home. Antique furnishings and art can be seen throughout the home.
